Nicole Kidman adores being with baby Sunday Rose

Nicole Kidman is so besotted with precious baby daughter Sunday that even her own mother thinks she’s a bit obsessed.

Nicole’s admitted: ‘I stand over Sunday’s crib and watch her breathe. It’s pathetic. My mum says I’m over-bonded, but I don’t care.’

The actress certainly looked relaxed on a recent trip to Paris with husband Keith Urban, 41, and five-month-old Sunday to promote her film Australia, out on Boxing Day. Explaining why she seemed so comfortable, she said: ‘Wherever your loved ones are is your home.’

The 41-year-old also revealed that becoming a mum has changed her.

‘I feel there’s something that happens with birth that’s very primal, that men are never going to understand,’ she said. ‘Something in your whole body changes and I don’t know what it is. I have no words for it other than there’s something that shifts and you’re more open and more raw.’

Asked how she feels about her Australia co-star Hugh Jackman winning a poll as sexiest man alive, she laughed: ‘He’s not. He’s the second sexiest man alive – Keith’s the sexiest.’

We should make the most of seeing Nicole while we can, though – she says she’s considering cutting down on her work to be a stay-at-home mum.

‘I’m not saying: “I’m never going to work again,”’ she said. ‘I obviously have creative blood in me, so it needs to come out in some way, but I suppose I just don’t have that burning desire to work any more.’
