David and Victoria Beckham’s housekeepers will not be charged over allegations they stole property from the couple and tried to sell it on eBay.
Victoria’s parents Tony and Jackie Adams reportedly spotted some of their daughter's clothes on the online auction site, along with football boots belonging to David, 33.
Eric and June Emmett, who worked at the couple's mansion in Hertfordshire, were later arrested on suspicion of theft on 10 October.
Their son Gareth, 25, was questioned three days later - and all three were released on bail.
But Hertfordshire Police announced yesterday that they would not be prosecuted.
‘After consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, no further action has been taken at this stage against the three people arrested in connection with an allegation of theft from the Sawbridgeworth home of David and Victoria Beckham,’ read a statement.
‘The injured party in this case is aware of the status of the investigation.’
