James Corden buys £4k watch for Alexandra Burke

Comedian is a big fan of The X Factor winner

James Corden was linked to Lily Allen

James Corden has splashed out on a £4,000 Cartier watch for Alexandra Burke.

The comedian has a soft spot for The X Factor champion.

But pals say they don't think Alex, 20, and James, 30, will become an item.

‘Although they are texting each other, I can’t see her falling for his charms,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘He’s not really her type.’

The Gavin And Stacey star joked he wanted to marry Alexandra when he appeared on The Xtra Factor.

‘I’d just make her laugh a lot and bring her tea,’ he said.
