Lorraine Kelly: Sometimes I want to slap guests on my show

But LK Today host has resisted the temptation

Lorraine Kelly has a newspaper column

Lorraine Kelly admits she's come close to losing her rag on breakfast TV.

The LK Today presenter, 49, reveals some guests have tested her patience.

‘Not many of them are difficult, usually because they’re selling something,' she says. ‘Occasionally I want to slap them.

'Especially bands who are only there because their record company has told them they have to be.

‘But I have never yielded to temptation. Not yet anyway.’

Lorraine insists she likes to remain professional.

‘I’ve always tried to behave as if I’m inviting people into my house,’ she tells Seven magazine.

‘That’s why I always treat them with great courtesy, even when they’re being twats.'
