Kanye West launches his new clothing line next year

Kanye West is said to be planning to move to London – to work with the best fashion designers.

The rapper, 31, is unveiling his new clothing range Pastelle in the capital in spring 2009.

And he’s been applying for internships at leading fashion houses to hone his trade.

‘I'm going to take an internship and just rap at the weekends,’ he says.

Insiders say Kanye is even prepared to do admin just to get his foot in the door.

‘He's applying at Louis Vuitton, Raf Simons and others,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘Everyone is surprised at just how seriously Kanye is taking his fashion dream.

'He's always in the front rows during the Paris and Milan fashion weeks. He absolutely loves London and wants to absorb the fashion over here.’
