Keira Knightley grew up in west London

Keira Knightley has forked out a whopping £2.3million on an apartment in Shoreditch, east London.

It is thought the actress, 23, and boyfriend Rupert Friend, 27, bought the property in the spring.

They've spent another £200,000 renovating it and are finally ready to move in, according to an insider.

Keira has always lived in west London, where she grew up.

‘She wanted to move somewhere more bohemian and arty,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘She fell in love with the house and can't wait to have some dinner parties around there.’
