Singer feels hurt by negative comments

Lily Allen admits negative comments about her weight and looks made her deeply unhappy.
The singer, 23, had to deal with cruel remarks about her appearance when she hit the limelight.
‘I never thought I was a supermodel – but didn’t think I was quite as unattractive as people said,’ she tells The Observer Music Monthly.
‘There were times I was so depressed and sad I couldn’t take any more of it.’
Lily vented these feelings on her blog in May 2007, calling herself ‘fat, ugly and shitter than Winehouse.’
She has also revealed how she's been tempted to quit music altogether.
‘Sometimes I feel like I’ve really had enough,’ she says. ‘I’m not someone who eats, lives and breathes music.’
Lily will release her hotly anticipated second album It's Not Me, It's You in February 2009.

The truth is Lily Allen has been buried so far in negative press, by the people that write it that she can get out. When she defends herself it comes up negative. When people in the tabloids accuse her of being foul mouthed, it is only after they write negative things about her. When she remains silent, her comments are fabricated. It strikes me as odd and very wrong that the writers of these blog/articles use every, nasty word that isn't foul, and they call her a pint sized potty mouthed pop star. Only to write articles and blogs that say Lily Allen is a hypocrite, or vaguely make her look like one. So Lily Allen can shut up, because she has, but does not need to. When will so and so stop believing what they read or stop reading it! If you believe what you read, then you have less of an education than she does, and she left school at 15 years old! And sounds educated!
