Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt and I feel at home in New Orleans

Actress says her kids are keen on the place too

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt began dating in 2005 after meeting on a film set

Angelina Jolie admits she and partner Brad Pitt can't get enough New Orleans.

The actress, 33, who has a string of homes all over the world, says her family feels comfortable there.

‘Our kids love it,’ she says. ‘They love the school and their friends here. But for all of us, we just come here and feel at home.

'This is the place we feel combines all the culture we love. It’s a melding of my French heritage with Brad’s Americana.’

Angelina says the children especially love the food at local restaurant Verti Marte.

'Their favourite thing to do it go down there,' she tells the Daily Star.

'The kids just love the food and they're absorbing years of tradition through that.'

Angelina and Brad, 44, have Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, Shiloh, 3, and five-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
