Britney Spears mimed on The X Factor

Britney Spears surprised fans last week when she went carol singing with Ellen DeGeneres.

The singer, 27, took to the streets of LA wearing a red gown and bonnet to spread some festive joy.

She and Ellen, 50, danced their way through the neighbourhood, giggling and joking.

The clip airs on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the US next week.
