Geri Halliwell: I’m happy being single

But Spice Girl wants to settle down one day

Geri Halliwell dated US dancer Ivan 'Flipz' Velez for seven months

Geri Halliwell is upbeat about being single after splitting with boyfriend Ivan ‘Flipz’ Velez.

The former Spice Girl ended her relationship with the dancer in October after seven months.

‘I’m single,’ she says. ‘That’s fine. I’m happy.

‘I know a lot of people in relationships walking around saying everything is perfect when it isn’t.’

But Geri, 36, would eventually like to meet someone and settle down.

‘I’d love to be in a long relationship,’ she says.

‘I love the idea of the swan that mates for life, but I don’t know how to get that.'

The singer has a two-year-old daughter, Bluebell, with her ex Sacha Gervasi.
