Will Young admits he was star struck by X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.

The singer sang his single Grace on the ITV show in November and felt spurred on by her support.

‘I gave her a little wave during my performance,’ he says.

‘And she winked at me back and literally my performance went to another level!

'I felt like I’d been blessed by the Pope!’

Will, 29, says he’s always been a huge fan of the Girls Aloud star, 25.

‘I love Cheryl! I’m obsessed with her,’ he says. 'I just think she’s amazing!’
