Radio 1 DJ releases statement saying sorry

Chris Moyles has expressed his regret after allegedly suggesting Polish women make good prostitutes.
The 34-year-old DJ made the remarks on his Radio 1 show last month.
'I've always found prostitutes make very good cleaners and their ironing, brilliant,’ he told listeners.
‘I find if you’re Polish you’re just very good at ironing... and prostitutes [are] very good also at fixing cars.’
After the BBC received 95 complaints about his comment, Chris issued this statement.
'I didn't mean to link Polish people and prostitution in the way that has been suggested.
'But I realise that some people have taken it that way and, to those people, I'm sorry for the unintentional offence.'
