Kevin Federline: I love Britney

K-Fed says he still cares deeply for Womanizer singer

Kevin Federline and Britney Spears finalised their divorce last year

Kevin Federline has revealed that he found it hard to cope when Britney Spears was hospitalised at the beginning of this year.

The singer was taken to an LA medical centre on a stretcher after suffering a breakdown.

‘That whole night is a blur,’ he says. ‘You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them.

'I was very, very worried for her because I care about her.’

Britney, 27, gave custody of Jayden James, 2, and Sean Preston, 3, to Kevin in the summer.

Despite their split in 2006, the 30-year-old says wishes all the best for the singer.

‘[She's] the mother of my children,’ he tells People. ‘Just because I'm not in love with her, doesn't mean that I don't love her.

'I'm rooting for her. There's nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.’
