Robert Downey Jr injured on Sherlock Holmes set

Actor knocked out during fight scene on new Guy Ritchie film

Jude Law stars in the film with Robert Downey Jr

Robert Downey Jr was reportedly punched to the floor while filming his latest movie.

The actor is currently making Guy Ritchie's adaptation of Sherlock Holmes.

And during one fight scene he is said to have been knocked out by a 350lb extra.

Robert, 43, was revived by medics and needed stitches inside his mouth.

‘He was accidentally caught on the chin by a thundering hook,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘He went flying and was out cold. He didn’t want to go to hospital and kept trying to get up. He’s a trooper.’
