New probe launched over death of Kanye West’s mum Donda

Nephew Stephan Scoggins’ role now reportedly being questioned

Kanye West was very close to his late mother Donda

California authorities have reportedly started looking into the death of Kanye West’s mum again.

Donda West, 58, died while recovering from plastic surgery in November 2007.

Dr Jan Adams was cleared of any responsibility by an LA coroner in January.

But now the California Department Of Consumer Affairs is said to be probing the role of Donda’s nephew Stephan Scoggins, 46, who was overseeing her post-surgery care.

‘We do not comment on ongoing investigations,’ a spokesman for the department tells People.

Stephan, a registered nurse, was unavailable for comment as was a rep for Kanye, 31.
