Lily Allen is hoping to bag a place on The X Factor judging panel.
The 23-year-old singer has been in contact with acid-tongued judge Simon Cowell, 49, and she reckons she could be in with a chance.
‘He spoke to me about being on TV after I was a judge on ITV’s Orange Playlist,’ she tells the News Of The World.
‘He said I was brilliant on it and we should have a meeting. He gave me his number but I didn’t call him.
'I’d love to do X Factor. As long as I sat next to Simon, it would be a right laugh.’

Given her recent opinion about the X factor judging, Lily Allen should have a seat, Right next to Simon. She would be good for the show, and she already knows Louie Walsh, she could also give snooty Jo Wiley a run for her money!
