Beyoncé Knowles says she didn't enjoy being in the delivery room when her sister gave birth.

The singer witnessed her younger sister Solange Knowles having son Daniel, now 4.

‘It kind of traumatised me,’ she says. ‘I told my sister that. I said, “Please don't have me in the room”.

'And she said, “You have to - I'm your sister! Stop being so silly.” Well, I was right. I'm traumatised.’

Beyoncé, 27, is in no rush to have a baby with husband Jay-Z, 38.

'I feel like it's important for women and men to have their goals and their own life before they can complete someone else,’ she told Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show.

Beyoncé and the rapper married in April after seven years together.
