Reality star attends lover's assault case
Wednesday, 26 November 2008
Jailbird Jack Tweed appeared in court yesterday charged with assault.
Jade Goody's fella, who is being held at Chelmsford Prison, wore handcuffs as he was led in by a security guard.
Jack, 21, is accused of attacking taxi driver Stephen Wilkins outside a nightclub in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, in May. He denies the charge.
His on/off lover Jade Goody, 27, was at Epping Magistrates Court, east London, to support him.
‘She looked really ashen-faced and not well at all,’ an onlooker tells The Sun. ‘She looked sad.’
The hearing was rearranged for a later date.
Jack was sentenced to 18 month behind bars in September for assaulting a teenager with a golf club in 2006.
