Joe Swash isn't looking for love in the jungle

Former EastEnders actor Joe Swash has won an army of new fans in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – but the biggest is his 17-month-old son.

The 26-year-old actor enjoyed a party lifestyle when he appeared on the BBC1 soap but friends say he's now a changed man.

‘Joe’s still a young man who likes to have a good time, but his priorities have changed since leaving EastEnders,’ a friend tells Now.

‘Now more than anything he wants to be a father figure for his son Harry and to be a bigger part of his life.

‘He wasn’t around that much when he was born, but now he wants to be the best dad possible.’

Joe met Harry's mum Emma Sophocleous in 2004 ,but after several break-ups and make-ups they split for good in January this year.

He's now dating former Hollyoaks actress Hannah Tointon, 20.

'He’s not looking for love in the jungle,' the friend adds. 'His real interest now is making the most of his career for the sake of his son.’
