Angelina Jolie: Maddox is teaching me karate

Actress's son is keen to show off his moves

Angelina Jolie adopted Maddox in 2002 when she was married to Billie Bob Thornton

Angelina Jolie has revealed that her eldest son Maddox has been training her in self-defence.

The adopted 7-year-old is currently taking martial arts lessons and he’s been eager to show his mum and dad Brad Pitt, 44, what he’s learnt.

'He’s learning to do karate and he’s trying to teach me how to punch,' she says.

Asked how her children feel about have Hollywood's hottest couple as parents, Angelina, 33, says they take it in their stride.

‘They’re like every kid; they think their parents are OK, not too cool,’ she tells Grazia.

Angelina and Brad are also parents to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, 4 months, Shiloh, 2, and adopted kids Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3.
