The X Factor judge is finally ready to start a family

Cheryl Cole wants to be a young mother

Now that Ashley Cole’s earned wife Cheryl’s trust again, she’s ready to start a family.

Cheryl, 25, recently said: ‘I want to start working on that baby. I want to be a young mum so I can go out with them like my mam does.’

‘Cheryl reckons Ashley will be a great dad and they both can’t wait,’ says our source, who claims that Cheryl always expected to have at least two kids by the time she was in her mid-twenties.

‘She’s a traditional girl at heart and had expected that once she got married, a baby would soon follow. Clearly, Ashley’s cheating revelations put all that on hold, but now they’re back on track she can’t wait.

‘She’s seen how Posh and Madonna have had kids without it denting their careers. She feels that now she’s a well established celebrity, she can take her foot off the pedal and not worry that she’ll lose everything.’

Eating lean meat
She was a vegetarian in the past, but Cheryl’s been advised by mum Joan to eat meat to keep her weight up.

Cutting back on booze
Cheryl’s limiting herself to the odd glass of wine and recently went straight home after dinner with Girls Aloud, while the others went to a club.

Spending quality time with Ashley
The pair are making more time for romantic evenings in and take time out to cook and share baths together.

Scaling down work commitments
After The X Factor, Cheryl’s having a break until Girls Aloud tour in May.
