Michelle Williams: Grief for Heath Ledger just gets worse

Actress is struggling to cope with his loss

Michelle Williams desperately misses her ex-fiancé Heath Ledger.

The Dark Knight star was found dead in his Manhattan apartment after an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in January.

'It's a strange thing to say because I am an optimistic person but I would say in some ways it just gets worse,’ she tells Newsweek magazine.

‘It's just that the more time that passes, the more you miss someone.’

Michelle, 28, filmed the movie Wendy And Lucy just after she split with Heath in September 2007.

'It was a vulnerable time,’ she says. ‘It was a strange combination of the greatest summers of my life and one of the most excruciating summers of my life.'

Michelle has three-year-old daughter Matilda with Heath.
