Singer says it took time to adjust to motherhood
Sunday, 30 November 2008
Sinitta has revealed she found it difficult when she first adopted her 2 children.
After failing to conceive naturally, the singer gave a home to Magdalena, 3, and Zac, 2, last year.
‘It was such as shock to the system,’ she tells the Sunday Express.
‘A happy shock, but it’s taken me about a year [to get used to it]. You get no time at all and no sleep.’
Sinitta says she's given up her jet-setting lifestyle for motherhood.
‘I did have a lot of years of doing exactly what I wanted, but those days are gone,’ she says.
‘You can’t just jump on a plane and say: “Let’s go shopping in New York.”'
Sinitta, 40, is married to financier Andy Willner, 47, who has 2 children from a previous relationship.
