Actor getting close to US comedienne Barbie Orr

John Cleese was sporting a mystery black eye last week

John Cleese is said to have sparked up a relationship with an American woman – who is 42 years his junior.

The comedian and Barbie Orr, 27, are believed to have been on a series of dates.

On Wednesday they were even spotted hugging when they met for a meal at the exclusive Loews Hotel in Santa Monica.
 
‘They were enjoying each others’ company immensely,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘Cleese’s booming voice turned everyone’s head.

'His date couldn’t stop laughing at him pulling funny faces. They were touching and nuzzling each other. He seemed very happy.’

John, 69, is currently divorcing his third wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger.
