The X Factor judge Simon Cowell is godfather to Sinitta's children

Sinitta winds up her ex lover Simon Cowell by telling him his success is down to her.

The X Factor judge had several hits in the 80s with the singer when he was her manager.

‘I actually tease him that it was in fact me who created him,' she says.

'Because I was the first act he signed, all those years ago when we were young hustlers, banging on doors begging people to hear us out.'

Sinitta, 40, and Simon, 49, have remained close friends.
