Former Atomic Kitten's flight hit by turbulence

Liz McClarnon was left bruised and shaken when her flight to Greece hit severe turbulence.

The singer was thrown about in the cabin while crew desperately tried to calm down passengers.

‘It was the worst flight ever,’ she reveals. 'We dropped out of the sky and I hit the ceiling and came back down and hit the floor.

'All the bottles smashed in the compartments above our heads, and I had bruises on my arms and down my leg from where the plane had been shaking.’

So Liz, 27, took drastic action when she returned from the country in the summer.

‘On the way back, I got completely drunk and just didn’t speak,’ she says.
