Blink 182 star gets his life back on track

Travis Barker was the drummer with Blink 182

Travis Barker has returned to work, just 2 months after surviving a plane crash that killed 4 other passengers.

The former Blink 182 drummer - who once dated Paris Hilton - was treated in hospital for third-degree burns after the jet burst into flames on the runway in South Carolina.

He and pal DJ AM, 35, managed to escape the blaze and scramble to safety.

‘I'm back playing my drums again and I'm already back in the studio,’ Travis, 32, told MTV's Total Request Live.

‘It was like riding a bike. It was really exciting to know I still have my chops. It still felt good. I still can make it around the kit. Everything felt right, so I'm thankful to be able to play.’

DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, is also back at work. He recently joined Jay-Z on stage in his first appearance since the accident.
