Diplomatic chef says he wanted to blow it up

Gordon Ramsay’s mum was left red-faced when the celebrity chef started criticising her food.
Helen Ramsay made him a birthday cake for his 42nd bash on 5 November.
But after tasting it he said it was ‘f***ing disgusting’.
‘I know it was Bonfire Night but all I wanted to do was to stick a rocket in the end and send it up,’ he says.
Gordon also revealed how he hates getting invited to dinner parties.
‘You have to be so diplomatic,’ he says. ‘When the food is so crap, you can’t say anything and you’ve got lumps of garlic here and bits of crap there…
'I end up heading to the bathroom with my BlackBerry so I can get on with some work.’
And it’s not just Gordon who behaves badly.
‘My wife Tana and I went to a dinner party that was so boring she fell asleep in the toilet,' he says.
'She came out an hour later with lines in her face from the basket she’d rested her head on.'

That seems like a load of bull. Gordon gives his mother nothing but complete respect, and even calls her one of the best chefs he's ever known.
i would never ever invite them round to one of my dinner parties if they do that.. just think of all the preparation the host of honour went through... stuff emmmmmm..... as for not eating his mum's birthday cake... that's soooo rude....
