Babyshambles star joins Queen's Head Rangers
Wednesday, 19 November 2008
Pete Doherty could soon be joining his local Sunday league footie team.
The Babyshambles singer has been following the Queen’s Head Rangers in Hazlemere, Bucks.
He’s even spent £500 kitting them out with a new strip that has his picture on the shirts.
And now Pete, 29, is hoping he’ll be picked as their striker.
‘We’d be happy to have him,’ club boss Josh Morris, 39, tells The Sun.

Am said Manager, he primarily said that he'd come to watch but we've had so many injuries this season that we're going to risk registering him to play. I've heard he has nifty feet and he would be welcome though i do have doubts about his fitness (charity 5-a-sides against the Atomic Kittens is a million miles away from our competitive league).
