Actress says it took her a while to feel comfortable

Reese Witherspoon worried that she wouldn’t be a good mum to her children.
The actress says it took her a while to adjust to parenthood.
‘When I first held my baby, Ava, that was the first time I’d ever held a baby in my life,’ she tells People.
‘So I understand that sort of fear of not being a good mom.
‘It took me a long time to feel really comfortable in the role of being a mother.’
Reese has two children, Ava, 9, and 5-year-old Deacon, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, 34.
The actress, 32, is now dating actor Jake Gyllenhaal, 27.
