Katie Holmes: Jada Pinkett Smith is an inspiration

Star says the actress is her role model

Katie Holmes has revealed her admiration for good friend Jada Pinkett Smith.

The 29-year-old star says the actress is her role model, for juggling a successful career with motherhood and marriage.

‘Jada is so strong,’ she tells People. ‘She is a rare woman – a phenomenal friend, mother, wife. She inspires me.’

Katie’s husband Tom Cruise, 46, is also a huge fan.

‘Jada tells it like it is,’ he says. ‘She is an extraordinary women and an amazing mother. She just has such class.’

Katie says she and Tom are close to Jada, 37, and her husband Will Smith, 40, because they lead such similar lives.

‘There aren’t many people you meet who are living on a parallel line, who can understand the pressures,’ she says.
