Kanye West has called for new laws to curb the paparazzi following his brief arrest on Friday.
The rapper was taken into custody by police in Newcastle after an alleged scuffle with a pap outside a nightclub.
But Kanye, who was released without charge, says he wasn’t to blame for the snapper’s cut nose.

‘I didn't assault him but merely putting my hand up to cover his lens. My security yelled, “get the camera off him”. I guess in all the commotion the camera scraped his nose.’
And now Kanye, 31, wants tougher legislation put in place.
‘Let us not forget the paps killed Princess Diana,’ he writes on his blog.
‘When will there be a law passed that simply enforces that someone has to ask to take a photograph of you?
