Comedian's pals talk about him behind his back
Saturday, 22 November 2008
Alan Carr finds a new set of mates twice a year.
‘The key to happiness is having a friend cull every 6 months,’ he says. ‘Friends drag you down.
'They are never happy for you and they talk about you behind your back – well, mine do anyway.
‘There’s nothing more invigorating than changing your number and ridding yourself of those nasty irritants.’
And Alan, 32, is quite negative about intimate relationships.
‘When I’m in love I feel suspicious,’ he tells The Times.
‘The minute I meet that special someone, I think it’s all going to end. I can get a bit downbeat like that.’
