Alesha Dixon: I forgive Harvey for cheating

Singer says she's moved on after split

Alesha Dixon won Strictly Come Dancing

Alesha Dixon says there are no hard feelings between her and ex-husband MC Harvey.

She split with the former So Solid Crew member in 2006 after he had an affair with Javine Hilton.

‘I have forgiven him and I’ve moved on,’ she says.

‘I don’t like being a victim – what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

‘That is my past and I am over it.’

Alesha, 30, insists she doesn’t worry about history repeating itself despite Harvey’s betrayal.

‘You trust someone until they give you reason not to,' she says.

‘It’s taken two years but I’m now in the best place in my life.

'My thirties is the beginning of a new chapter. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but it feels exciting.’

Harvey, 29, now has a nine-month-old baby, Angel, with Javine, 26.
