Beyonce Knowles wants to sing at US President Elect Barack Obama's inauguration bash.
The politician will officially take over from George W Bush in January and he's organising a star-studded event to celebrate.
‘If Obama wants it to happen then I would love to do it... as a matter of fact, I can't wait,’ she tells the Daily Mirror.
‘All of us are prepared to do what we have to do.’
And Beyonce, 27, reckons Barack, 47, will inspire her fellow countrymen and women.
‘I'm happy that we have a black president so I can tell my nephew, who is 4 right now, that you can do whatever you like and you can be whatever and no one can come in your way,’ she says.
‘You just have to dedicate yourself at what you do and don't give up.’
