Katie Melua: I've found my soul mate

But singer says she will never get married

Katie Melua is rumoured to be in relationship with photographer Lara Bloom

Katie Melua has revealed will never get walk down the aisle because she doesn’t believe in marriage.

But the singer says she has found her soul mate.

‘I don’t believe in marriage at all,’ she says. 'I think it was invented for money and convenience.

‘I believe in finding a soul mate – and feel like I have found one – but I know there have been soul mates in the past and there may be others in the future.’

Katie, 24, refuses to discuss her sexuality, although she is rumoured to be in relationship with photographer Lara Bloom, 28. 

‘Is it necessary to say who’s sleeping with whom?’ she tells You.

‘If I was to start talking about who I was dating, I’d be famous for different reasons.’

The star dated The Kooks singer Luke Pritchard for 3 years but they split in 2005.
