Evan Rachel Wood: I'm not dating Mickey Rourke

Actress denies romance with The Wrestler co-star

Evan Rachel Wood split up with singer Marilyn Manson last month

Evan Rachel Wood has rubbished claims that she's romantically involved with Mickey Rourke.

The actress says she is just friends with the ageing actor, who's her co-star in new film The Wrestler.

‘Spread the word – I’m not dating Mickey Rourke,’ she tells People.

‘Mickey and I bonded whilst shooting The Wrestler and we became friends, but nothing more.’

Evan, 21, recently split with rocker Marilyn Manson, 39.

‘I guess because of my recent break-up I will be linked to many people, but I'm not interested in pursuing a relationship at this point in my life,' she says.

Mickey, 56, has also denied any relationship with Evan.
