Kim Cattrall named Ultimate Icon at awards do

Sex And The City star steals the show in silky black number

Kim Cattrall said this week that there will be a Sex And The City sequel

Kim Cattrall was the big winner at last night’s Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year Awards.

The Sex And The City star, 52, was named the Ultimate Icon for her role as man-eating Samantha Jones in the hit TV series.

And she caught everyone’s attention in a silky black frock as she collected her gong at the glitzy event in Whitehall.

Other winners included Myleene Klass, 30, for Ultimate TV Presenter, Alesha Dixon, 30, won the Ultimate Confidence Queen Award, and Estelle, 28, was crowned the Ultimate Believe In Your Talent Star.

Girls Aloud had mixed success. Although they were voted Ultimate Fun Fearless Females, they lost out to Sugababes in the Mistresses Of Music category.

Gethin Jones, 30, received the Ultimate Hottie gong, Ugly Betty star America Ferrera, 24, was named Ultimate TV Actress, and Kate Hudson, 29, was honoured as the Ultimate Film Actress.

Britney Spears, 26, was not in attendance to collect her Ultimate Comeback Star prize, as were Brad Pitt, 44, and Angelina Jolie, 33, for their Ultimate Couple prize.

The ceremony was hosted by Fearne Cotton, 27.
