Madonna wants Gwyneth Paltrow to move to New York

Singer wants to be close to best pal

Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow have been good friends for years

Madonna is said to be trying to convince best friend Gwyneth Paltrow to quit the UK.

The singer is planning to settle in New York with her children following her split from husband Guy Ritchie, 40 – and she wants the actress to go with her.  

‘Madonna and Gwyneth are bosom buddies,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘Gwyn was a rock to Madonna while she was considering whether to leave Guy.

‘They were in constant contact during the difficult period and Madonna really valued Gwyneth’s advice.

'Madge is desperately sad to be leaving one of her best friends behind and has been urging her to join her in the Big Apple.’

But Gwyneth, 36, is reluctant to move as she has British husband Chris Martin, 31, and kids Apple, 4, and Moses, 2, to consider.
