Music mogul doesn't want marriage or kids

The X Factor judge Simon Cowell admits he's married to the job

Simon Cowell has opened up about his split from ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour.

The X Factor judge says they broke up because the former model, 34, wanted more from their relationship.

‘She wants a different path in life, and I totally respect her for it,’ he reveals.

‘We will be the best of mates, but I think in relationships, you have to be totally honest.

'I have always been and I know Terri knows that.’

Simon, 49, maintains that he'll never settle down and have kids.

‘I find women confusing, really,’ he tells Fox News.

‘When you hook up and date, you're both honest about what you want. I have never ever said that I want children or marriage.

'I know some people find it hard to fathom, but it's me, it's who I am.’

Simon dated Terri for five years. He says there's no one else involved in the split.
