EastEnders star Scott Maslen misses honeymoon

Soap star was too tired to go to France

Scott Maslen's EastEnders co-stars attended his wedding last month

Scott Maslen spent his honeymoon in a London hotel.

The EastEnders star and wife Estelle Rubio, 33, had arranged to travel to France.

But they were so tired after their wedding day at Brocket Hall, Welwyn, Herts, last month and decided to stay in the UK.

Scott, 37, who plays Jack Branning, insists it was just as romantic.

‘We had a really big day and we woke up late,’ he tells The Sun. ‘We were supposed to be getting the train from St Pancras but we felt so tired we decided not to bother.

‘We only had 5 days so decided not to spent 2 days travelling. Instead, we stayed in the hotel, stayed in bed and ordered room service for 5 days — it was brilliant. We had a wonderful time.’
