Reality TV star is having hot flushes

Jade Goody was was told she had cervical cancer in August

Jade Goody has revealed her periods have stopped as a result of chemotherapy.

The reality TV star was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August and underwent a hysterectomy the following month.

But after gruelling sessions of chemo, Jade is struggling to cope with the side effects.

‘I’m going through the menopause. I’m 27 and I’m having hot flushes,’ she admits.

‘I don’t feel like a woman any more. I still have my ovaries, but the treatment kills everything.

'I’m crying one minute, then I’m hot. I’m all over the place.’

But Jade, 27 - who has sons Bobby, 5, Freddie, 4 - tries to make light of the fact she’ll lose all her hair.

‘I’ll have [a wig], just in case I’m having a crap day or going out for dinner,’ she says.

‘But I’ll probably just wear a headscarf and let the boys draw on my head.'

Doctors have told Jade she has a 50% chance of making a full recovery.
