Socialite says its been hard to stay clean
Tuesday, 4 November 2008
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has revealed that she faces a constant battle to stay off drugs.
The TV presenter had a £400-a-day cocaine addiction, but has been clean for the past 9 years.
‘I can’t say it’s been easy,’ she tells Stella magazine. ‘In fact, it’s been really, really hard.’
‘Where you see nothing, I see temptation. Everything is a trigger.’
But Tara, 37, says she will never go down that road again, not least because she couldn't do it to her family.
‘I can’t ever do drugs again,’ she says. ‘We’ve been through so much to get here.’
