Actress admits she was anxious about giving birth to her first child
Tuesday, 4 November 2008
Nicole Kidman has admitted that having her daughter was far easier than she’d imagined.
The actress – who had 2 miscarriages with ex-husband Tom Cruise - was worried that something would go wrong during the birth.
But she says her husband Keith Urban, 41, kept her calm when she delivered Sunday Rose in July.
‘Keith was my rock during childbirth,’ she admits.
‘I'd heard horror stories of 40 hours of labour and I was sure that would be me, but I had a very easy labour. And through it all, Keith's eyes gave me such strength.’
And she says she can’t bear to be away from either her daughter or husband for long.
‘I've reached a stage in my life when I want to be with the ones I love,’ she tells Glamour.
Nicole, 41, is also mum to adopted kids Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, with Tom, 46.
