Bond film rakes in almost £5 million on opening day in UK

Quantum Of Solace has taken a massive £4.9 million on the first day of its release in the UK.
The new James Bond movie, starring Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton,opened in cinemas on Friday.
And it smashed the previous box office record set by 2005 film Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, which took £4.03 million.
Opening day numbers far exceeded the 2006 Bond film Casino Royale, which took £2.9 million.
