Girls Aloud star joins Gary Barlow's celebrity charity team

Cheryl Cole is to scale Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief.
The Girls Aloud star, 25, and 7 other celebs have been recruited by Gary Barlow to help raise funds for charity.
‘I went to Africa for Comic Relief 18 months ago and the images from that trip have stayed with me and made me want to do something big to make a difference and raise money,’ the 37-year-old Take That frontman tells The Sun.
‘The other people on the climb feel similarly, so it made sense to ask them to join me.
'I have chosen the people I want to be stuck on the side of a mountain with, even if we are the least likely you would expect to find there.
'We are all nervous and are trying to fit training into our schedules but the team spirit, enthusiasm and commitment are incredible.’
Other stars taking part in climbing the 19,340ft peak in February include Chris Moyles, 34, Denise Van Outen, 34, Alesha Dixon, 30, Kimberley Walsh, 26, Fearne Cotton, 27, Ronan Keating, 31, and Ben Shephard, 33.
