Kylie Minogue: I want to do comedy

Singer plans to return to acting roots

Kylie Minogue also starred in the musical Moulin Rouge

Kylie Minogue would like to try her hand at becoming a comic actress.

The singer, 40, who found fame on Neighbours in the 1980s, thinks she'd be good at it. 

‘Recording and being a performer, thankfully that's gone really well, but now I'm starting to think again about acting,’ she says.

‘I'd love to do a comedy. I've done a few little comedy bits and pieces as a guest and I love it. It's so much fun.

'It's not well known that I'm funny but I am. People who know me will tell you.’

The star is rumoured to be in talks to appear in a new movie by The Edge of Love director John Maybury.
