Opera singer makes shocking confession

Katherine Jenkins did cocaine, MDMA and cannabis when she moved to London nine years ago.
The opera singer, who is dating Strictly Come Dancing star Gethin Jones, 30, says her life was almost ruined by drugs.
'Look at Amy Winehouse. It's such a shame. I could have ended up like her,' she says.
Katherine experimented with illegal substances after getting in with the wrong crowd.
And she admits the side effects left her feeling miserable.
‘I didn’t want to live the next day, it made me feel so depressed. It was just horrible,’ she says.
‘After taking cocaine I felt absolutely terrible. It was like the worst hangover in the world times ten, times a hundred.’
Katherine says she immediately quit when she was offered a £1million record deal with Universal Records in 2003.
‘I knew in that moment that I had to stop taking drugs,’ Katherine, 28, tells the Mail on Sunday.
‘I had been given this amazing opportunity and I just couldn’t let myself mess it all up for the sake of cocaine or Ecstasy.
'I take responsibility for my own actions and always will.'

Cocain causing a hangover worse than alcohol??? The next day after a cocain session is not a problem for most people, comparable to maybe 2 pints of beer. Drugs should be legalized and controled by the goverment to close the door on the evil black market drug trade, while generating massive tax's to help us through this economical hell.
