Singer hopes for second child
Friday, 31 October 2008
The clock may be ticking, but Céline Dion still hopes to have a second child after her world tour ends in February 2009.
There is a "small window of hope," she told Oprah Winfrey this week. "We'll give it a try after my tour ... Hopefully, we [will be] parents again. If not, that's fine. We have our miracle baby."
Dion and her husband, manager René Angélil, have a 7-year-old son, René-Charles, conceived by in vitro fertilization after six years of trying.
In the meantime, Dion has more pressing concerns, like battling the respiratory ailment which forced her to cancel a recent show in Minneapolis. (The concert has been rescheduled for Feb. 5.)
