Phil Vickery: Fern Britton is sexiest woman ever

TV chef adores his wife’s curves

Fern lost 5st after having a gastric band fitted

Phil Vickery says that wife Fern Britton is his ideal woman.

The TV chef thinks she looks fabulous, whatever her size.

‘She is the sexiest woman ever,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.

‘People come up in the street and tell me I’m a lucky sod – and they’re right.’

Fern, 50, has lost 5st after undergoing weight-loss surgery.

The This Morning presenter had a gastric band fitted in 2006 after seeing unflattering pictures of herself in a bikini.

But Phil, 47, thinks she has always looked wonderful.

‘I couldn’t understand the fuss,’ he says. ‘I looked at those photos and thought: “Cor! She’s really sexy.”

‘Everything about Fern is sexy. She’s very funny, has great legs – she’s gorgeous.’

'If people like Victoria Beckham want to be as skinny as skeletons that's fine, [but] it doesn't do anything for me.'
